NF Inc. Minnesota is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to individuals and families affected by NF. How? By providing information, support and appropriate referrals to anyone interested in NF. We help to create awareness within our community and raise funds for research to attain better management, treatments and cure.

James H. Tonsgard, MD  Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology Director, University of Chicago Ambulatory Program for NeurofibromatosisA pediatric neurologist, Dr. James Tonsgard is an expert in epilepsy and seizures, neurofibromatosis, and tuberous sclerosis. He also specializes in mental retardation and metabolic brain disease. Dr. Tonsgard is an active researcher and is studying various biochemical processes that may affect neurological diseases. He is also interested in research related to neurofibromatosis.
Dr. Tonsgard has written the 2nd Edition of "Understanding
Neurofibromatosis: An Introduction for Patients and Parents" published by
Illinois Neurofibromatosis, Inc. and the University of Chicago.
NF Inc. Minnesota presents this
gathering designed specifically for those affected by and interested
in neurofibromatosis - parents, caregivers, individuals, friends and
professionals.
Join us and learn about Dr. Tonsgard's recent work in the
field of neurofibromatosis with a question and answer session to
follow.
